Welcome to Garforth Golf Club

A warm welcome to Garforth Golf Club - whether you’re a lifelong member or just visiting for the day we’re sure you’ll enjoy our course, clubhouse and facilities.

The course was one of the first designed by Dr Alistair McKenzie, one of the world’s most re-known golf course architects who also designed The Augusta National Golf Club, Royal Melbourne Golf Club and Lahinch Golf Club as well as Alwoodley Golf Club and Moortown Golf Club in Leeds.

Garforth is known for its warm welcome, fantastic greens and challenging finish.

Thank everyone at Garforth GC who made our golf day on Tuesday go so well. We thought that the course was in superb condition (shame about the gusty cool wind), and one of our players (handicap3) played it in gross 68! The service from the catering and bar was excellent.

I would like to say what a fabulous day out we had yesterday. The course is a delight to play, the food delicious but primarily I must compliment you on your wonderfully obliging staff, nothing was too much trouble. Probably one of the best golf days out we have ever had.

Very well maintained course with some great holes. The greens were amazing and very quick! Friendly staff who were very helpful!

Lovely course in great condition. Challenging too.pros are great and a well stocked pro shop and if you can't see what you're after they can get it ordered in. The trackman studio is also very good.

The course is open. Course open - green day - Preferred lies or optional fairway mats on areas cut to fairway height or less - 4th hole - additional temporary local rule in force on repaired drainage ditch - No play zone, ball, stance or swing - rule 16.1f in general area, rule 17.1d in penalty area.
